Crystolon Bench Stone · Silicon Carbide · Sharpens Quickly
Quickly sharpen and finish cutting edges with the Crystolon Combination Grit Bench Stone. With a combination of coarse and fine grit Crystolon (silicon carbide), you will sharpen and remove stock fast with the coarse, sharp silicon carbide abrasive side and finish with the fine grit side. The coarse side is very aggressive and is used to bring dull edges back to sharpness. The fine side is used for restoring edges that are slightly dull and for refining the edge left by the coarse side. This stone is the solution when you need to get the job done fast. Ideal for general sharpening.

The Crystolon Combination Grit Bench Stone is a 4" diameter round stone. The coarse side is 120 grit and the fine side is 320 grit.

Use this stone with an oil such as our  Stoning Oil or Polishing Lubricant and Diamond Thinner for best results as the use of oil increases the sharpening action and minimizes the clogging of the stones' surface.
