Product Availability and Usage
SUNBURSTS® are available in multiple grits, shapes and sizes and color-coded for easy identification. Use SUNBURST® Radial Discs with precision flex-shaft tools and angle, bench and die grinders. SUNBURSTS® are the preferred choice for CNC machines and robotics where conformability and durability are key.
For most applications 3,000-18,000 RPM is recommended (5,000 RPM for woodworking). Lower speeds allow a softer touch, greater flexibility, and more subtle results. Higher speeds provide more aggressive material removal. Using the tips of the bristles with light pressure maximizes disc life.
