EDM Finishing Stone • Treated Aluminum Oxide • Gold Color The Falcon Tool “GS” finishing stone is made with premium aluminum oxide grain and a proprietary treatment process. It delivers exceptional performance on EDM (electrical discharge machining) surfaces, milling and machining marks. The "GS" has a medium-hard structure and a fast breakdown offering quick material removal. It contours quickly while leaving a silky-smooth finish. The "GS" works on all tool steel and is great when used during hand stoning as well as with reciprocating profilers like our Turbo-Lap and U-Lap Air Profilers and Diprofil Die Profiler. Lengthy pre-lubrication is not required before use, but the "GS" should be used with a lubricant to avoid stone loading. Try our Stoning Oil or Polishing Lubricant and Diamond Thinner! It's also best to dress "GS" stones to open up pores before use.
